Calgary is less than an hour's drive from the majestic Rocky Mountains and boasts the most extensive urban pathway and bikeway network in North America.
Sensor development for contact-based human-robot collaboration
For this research project, the task is to develop wearable sensors for contact-based physical interaction. These sensors will be used to support robot control by measuring the forces exchanged between the robot, humans, and the environment. This will allow for better communication of intentions between the robot and human partner during a collaboration.
